Available in an array of shades, choosing your favourite might be the hardest part!
Fit: Customer feedback is that this coat runs true to size to slightly small. If broader across the hips/bust you may need to size up.

Yes, you are right this item is designed more for showery rain than downpours. On the details for this product we state: This is designed to be a lighter weight Spring/Summer product. It is waterproof, up to 3,000 mm, with fully taped seams. This will keep you dry in light rainfall/showers.
We have other jackets with higher levels of waterproofing, with many waterproof up to 5,000 mm and Outrider/Outback/Kendal up to 10,000 mm of water.

Lovely comfortable coat
A very comfortable, lightweight waterproof coat. Went up a size to allow for a thicker jumper underneath. The sleeves are quite long but I just turn them up. Lovely sage green colour. Overall delighted with my purchase.
