How do I add a promotional code for an online purchase?
Once you have added your items to the cart and clicked the checkout button, there will be a field to the right where you can enter your promotional code. Click apply and the saving will be added.

What do I do if my purchase is faulty?

with a covering note stating the fault and we will assess if the problem can be repaired. If it cannot be repaired we will honour either an exchange or a full refund, depending on the date of purchase.
Do you have a product guarantee?
Yes we offer a 1 year guarantee on all our products, or manufacturing faults. This does not cover wear and tear.
How is your waterproof fabric crafted?
Every season our design team carefully chooses soft, comfy fabrics that are crafted to the highest quality. These fabrics are then given a waterproof PU coating with taped seams to prevent any pesky rain droplets seeping through.
How do I choose the best waterproof jacket for me?
Choosing a waterproof jacket is very much dependent on what your needs are. We craft stylish, weatherproof clothing that’s technically strong and beautifully designed with hand drawn prints and colourful fabrics. These are jackets that will keep you covered for city breaks, leisurely country walks and seaside strolls and whilst they are functional and practical for any sudden downpour, they are not suitable for hiking, camping or other strenuous activities.
When choosing the right waterproof jacket for casual wanders and everyday travels, we recommend considering what style will suit you best and what you would feel most comfortable in. All our jackets and coats are waterproof and breathable, but they come in either short, mid or long length styles. If you want a casual coat perfect for the school run then a parka would be the most suitable, but if you want a cover up that will keep you protected from head to toe then perhaps a long overcoat would be your cup of tea.

How do I return my products?
You can return your items to us within 30 days of receipt.
If you would like to exchange the item then please detail what colour and size you would like. You will not be charged again for postage.

How many days will it take to receive my order?
We try our hardest to process orders within one working day. We have partnered with Royal Mail and send all orders out with their RM48 service, which aims to deliver in 2 business day, but can take up to 5 business days. The expected date of delivery will very much depend on the delivery location, so to find out more please click here.
Express delivery is available in the UK but please note that your order must be placed before 2PM to ensure next day delivery( noon on a Friday).

How I can track my order?
You will receive an email when your order has shipped, with full delivery information including tracking (if applicable).
When will I receive my refund?
Your refund will be processed within 5 working days of being received back at our HQ. You will get an email notification to confirm that the refund has been processed and also confirming the amount. If you have not heard from us within this time period, please e-mail us at help@lighthouseclothing.co.uk with your return tracking info.
How do I care for my waterproof jacket?
It’s inevitable - over time after a few wears your jacket will build up dirt and debris that will directly start to affect your garment in terms of breathability and waterproofness.
This happens through the tiny pores in the waterproof/breathable membrane becoming clogged up with dirt from the environment and perspiration from your skin.
In order to maintain the great breathability and waterproofness of your jacket, regular (gentle) washing is essential, as well as reproofing over a period of time.
How do I wash my waterproof jacket?
The first thing to bear in mind when it comes to washing waterproof clothing is that ordinary detergent won’t always cut it - this can potentially damage your jacket’s technical performance.
The best way to wash waterproof clothing is with a cleaner specifically designed for technical outerwear such as Nikwax Tech Wash.
Ensure you have cleaned out your washing machine’s detergent compartment of any residual detergent and softener. You may even want to run a hot wash on your washing machine to get rid of any residue from previously used detergents and softeners.
Before washing, ensure that any loose, visible dirt is brushed off then zip up zips and fold over velcro and flaps.
Don’t wash your waterproof clothing with other items and stick to no more than two waterproof garments at a time to ensure they get the best wash. Run through the complete wash then rinse cycle at the 30 degrees.
Please note that Lighthouse coats and jackets cannot be tumble dried.
How do I reproof my waterproof jacket?
Over time, with wear, waterproof clothing’s great water repellent and breathable features can become diminished. If you start to notice that your jacket is beginning to absorb water instead of repel it, then it may be time you reproofed it. The brand Nikwax is highly recommended for their wash-in and spray on proofers - Nikwax Waterproofing
Before use, you should test out your proofer on a small area of your jacket. This is just to ensure that your jacket won’t be altered by the proofer.
For spray on proofers, spray it evenly on the outside of the jacket from approximately 15-20 cm away. Hanging your jacket on a washing line will help to maintain an even covering.
