Our Beachcomber jacket has become a Lighthouse classic and, due to popular demand, we have again expanded the range of colours available for the new Spring/Summer season.
Waterproof and windproof with a peachy-soft outer and jersey lining, this is the perfect lightweight jacket to cover those transitional seasonal moments when it's a little warmer outdoors, but the rainclouds are threatening, or when the evening air still has a bit of a chill.
The concealed hood and front pockets keep the lines clean and unfussy when you just want a simple jacket to grab and go. Breton stripes and adjustable drawcords keep the nautical look in a variety of colour ways.
With the machine washable Beachcomber to hand, any outing can be enjoyed with gusto, no matter what the weather has in store!
Fit: Customer feedback is that this coat runs true to size to slightly small. If broader across the hips/bust you may need to size up.
Is this coat waterproof? This is designed to be a lighter weight Spring/Summer product. It is waterproof, up to 3,000 mm, with fully taped seams. This will keep you dry in light rainfall/showers.
Is it breathable? Yes, it is breathable up to 3,000 gsm.
Is it windproof? Yes.
Will it keep me warm? This is designed to be a lighter weight Spring/Summer product and does not have additional padding or insulation.
Does it have pockets? Yes, two front pockets and a zipped internal pocket.
What length is it? Hip length
Is it washable? Machine washable / Do not tumble dry / Iron on low heat

This jacket was just what I was looking for to replace a previous jacket. Normally size 12/14 so ordered a 14 to be on the safe side. Not enough room in it. Like the jacket so returned the 14 and ordered a 16. It too is not roomy but decided to keep it for over lighter tops. Good service and prompt refund just disappointed in the sizing.

This is my second jacket from Lighthouse and I really like the quality and design.
I bought this jacket in my usual 16 but found a little on the big size for me. I sent it back and in no time a smaller size arrived which fitted a dream.
The finish to the fabric and sewing are of a very high standard.
I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone.
