Combining the practical features needed to cope with the school day with the reassurance of warmth and protection from the elements, the Lewis is the perfect School coat for the coming season.
Whether on the way to school or in the playground, the soft shearling lining in the hood and upper body, teamed with insulated padding, will ensure cosiness as the days cool. Rain can be batted away in this highly waterproof coat, which also benefits from a hood which can be adjusted using the drawcord. Sturdy but not restrictive, Lewis allows all the running around required in a school day without feeling bulky.
Safety is always an issue as the days darken, so the addition of a reflective stripe on the front and bottom back sections of the coat are welcome. Machine washable, the smart charcoal grey coat has a contrasting red piping whilst four pockets, two of which can be safely buttoned, add security.
Durable, snug and functional the Lewis is smart enough to work as an all-rounder outside of the classroom and copes as well on coastal strolls, woodland walks or fun with friends, as in the classroom.

Lighthouse School Coat
Our kids outgrew their first coats from Lighthouse so we ordered some new.
Two things, 1 what a fantastic product well-made stylish and warm.
2 given the first coats were well used there isn't a huge difference from the new coats. They are that well made.

Perfect school coat
This coat is mart and practical without being overly padded. Tested on a day out and it is waterproof. Good length and deep pockets are great. My son really loves his new coat. Very happy with the price point too, good value for money. Would be nice to have some other colour options for my daughter though.

Nice coat!
Nice coat, for school. My skinny kid looks good in it. For a height of 135, I took 140-146, good, but not enough for growth.
